An entire Department is dedicated to this activity, with the main mission of leading and managing the rail traffic safety policy across the entire network.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The Transport Department is responsible for organizing, assembling and controlling transport production. It implements a logistics approach consistent with sales ambitions, oversees station operations and train driving, and designs and implements the transport plan.<\/p>

From the formation of the train to the final destination of the passenger or the goods, they are assistant drivers, shunting drivers, line drivers, station managers, transport safety managers, switchers or shunting agents, regulators... who participate and ensure the safe movement of passenger trains and freight trains. A total of 595 employees \u2013 men and women \u2013 who work every day for rail traffic across the entire network.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    Train movements throughout the network are coordinated by the Command-and-Control Station (CCS). This unit is in permanent contact with all trains in circulation, thanks to the modern telecommunications systems deployed by CAMRAIL. The members of the PCC work around the clock, day in, day out, to ensure that trains are kept on schedule, and that priority is always given to passenger trains<\/p>

    CAMRAIL optimizes the daily implementation of the transport plan in its 03 phases (pre-operational, operational and post-operational), taking into account the needs of the contributing structures: fixed installations, equipment, freight and passengers. It ensures optimum management of the freight wagon fleet and coordinates the provision of operational logistics solutions in line with allocations and priorities.     The company plans routes and organizes evacuations in accordance with the transport plan, following consultation with the coordinating operational teams. It optimizes train movements in line with the transport plan, provides central incident management for operational teams, pilots the deployment of rescue and recovery resources in line with requirements, and keeps the duration of main-track interruptions to a minimum<\/p>

    CAMRAIL also guarantees the proper maintenance and use of OKAPI, the rail traffic management software. It ensures traffic reporting, sets up a safety watch within the Command-and-Control Station (CCS), and implements the operational measures adopted by the Crisis Management Unit, where necessary<\/p> <\/div>\n\t\t \n

    CAMRAIL periodically determines transport capacity by wagon type. To this end, it implements a schedule of wagon assignments by customer, drawn up jointly with the Sales and Marketing Department, as well as the container loading program. It communicates monthly and decadal availability commitments to each customer's logistics teams and to the Sales and Marketing Department.<\/p>

    It organizes logistics deployment at the various production sites in line with customer requirements (SMN, SOMAC...), and guarantees the balance of logistical accessories (tarpaulins, straps, tie-down wires, plastic film...) according to the loading schedule for each generic.<\/p> <\/div>\n\t\t \n

    The Transport Department periodically analyzes production performance (punctuality, transit-time, regularity, etc.), transport and logistics operations, and line time losses. It ensures technical monitoring of production operating methods within the coordinations, proposes action plans packed with corrective measures for deviations identified by the analyses, and prepares feedback following analysis of incidents and operating disruptions. La Direction Transport a la charge de l\u2019organisation, l\u2019assemblage, et la commande de la production transport. Elle met en place une d\u00e9marche logistique coh\u00e9rente avec les ambitions commerciales, assure le pilotage des m\u00e9tiers exploitation gare et conduite des trains, con\u00e7oit et met en \u0153uvre le plan de transport. De la formation du train \u00e0 la destination finale du voyageur ou des marchandises, ils sont aide-conducteurs, conducteurs de man\u0153uvres, conducteurs de ligne, chefs de gares, chefs s\u00e9curit\u00e9 transport, aiguilleurs ou agents de man\u0153uvre, r\u00e9gulateurs\u2026qui participent et veillent \u00e0 la circulation en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des trains voyageurs et des trains marchandises. Cette unit\u00e9 est en contact permanent avec tous les trains en circulation gr\u00e2ce aux dispositifs de t\u00e9l\u00e9communications modernes d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s par CAMRAIL. Les membres du PCC travaillent au quotidien, 24h\/24h, et veillent \u00e0 l\u2019ordre de circulation des trains qui est donn\u00e9 en s\u2019assurant que la priorit\u00e9 est toujours accord\u00e9e aux trains voyageurs. CAMRAIL optimise la mise en \u0153uvre quotidienne du plan de transport dans ses 03 phases (pr\u00e9-op\u00e9rationnelle, op\u00e9rationnelle et post op\u00e9rationnelle) en prenant en compte les besoins des structures contributrices : installations fixes, mat\u00e9riel, fret et voyageurs. Elle analyse et r\u00e9alise le reporting de la production Transport. L\u2019entreprise planifie les acheminements et organise les \u00e9vacuations conform\u00e9ment au plan de transport \u00e0 l\u2019issue des concertations avec les op\u00e9rationnels des coordinations. Elle optimise la circulation des trains dans le respect du plan de transport, assure le pilotage central des incidents aupr\u00e8s des \u00e9quipes op\u00e9rationnelles, pilote le d\u00e9ploiement des moyens de secours et de relevage en tenant compte des besoins et limite au maximum la dur\u00e9e d\u2019interruption des circulations sur la voie principale. CAMRAIL garantit en outre la bonne tenue et l\u2019utilisation de l\u2019outil OKAPI, logiciel de gestion des circulations ferroviaires. Elle assure le reporting des circulations, met en place une veille s\u00e9curit\u00e9 au sein du Poste de Commandement et de Contr\u00f4le (PCC) et assure la mise en \u0153uvre des dispositions op\u00e9rationnelles retenues par la Cellule de gestion des crises, le cas \u00e9ch\u00e9ant. CAMRAIL d\u00e9termine p\u00e9riodiquement les capacit\u00e9s transport par type de wagons. A cet effet elle met en \u0153uvre un planning des affectations wagons par client conjointement \u00e9labor\u00e9 avec la Direction Commerciale et Marketing, ainsi que le programme de chargement des conteneurs. Elle communique les engagements de mise \u00e0 disposition mensuelle et d\u00e9cadaire aux \u00e9quipes logistiques de chaque client et \u00e0 la Direction Commerciale et Marketing. Elle organise le d\u00e9ploiement logistique dans les diff\u00e9rents sites de production en respectant les exigences des clients (SMN, SOMAC\u2026), garanti l\u2019\u00e9quilibre des accessoires logistiques (B\u00e2ches, sangles, fils d\u2019arrimage, film plastique\u2026) suivant le planning de chargement par g\u00e9n\u00e9rique La Direction Transport analyse p\u00e9riodiquement les r\u00e9alisations de la production (Ponctualit\u00e9, transit-time, r\u00e9gularit\u00e9\u2026), les op\u00e9rations transport et logistiques, et les pertes de temps en ligne. Elle assure la veille technique sur les m\u00e9thodes d\u2019exploitation de la production au sein des coordinations, propose des plans d\u2019actions regorgeant des mesures correctives vis-\u00e0-vis des \u00e9carts relev\u00e9s par les analyses et \u00e9labore les retours d\u2019exp\u00e9rience faisant suite \u00e0 l\u2019analyse des incidents et perturbation de l\u2019exploitation.
