d\u2019un port en eaux profondes capable d\u2019accueillir les navires, notamment porte-conteneurs de nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, \u00e0 fort tirant d\u2019eau, qui desservent les c\u00f4tes d\u2019Afrique Centrale et de l\u2019Ouest.<\/p><p>Le d\u00e9veloppement de la ligne Ed\u00e9a \u2013 Kribi a fait l\u2019objet de plusieurs \u00e9tudes qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9es notamment\u00a0par CAMRAIL qui a mandat\u00e9 le bureau d\u2019\u00e9tudes ferroviaires SYSTRA afin de r\u00e9aliser une \u00e9tude de pr\u00e9faisabilit\u00e9 sommaire visant \u00e0 proposer un trac\u00e9 et avoir une \u00e9valuation des co\u00fbts de construction de la ligne\u00a0; et par le Minist\u00e8re des Travaux Publics (MINTP) qui a mandat\u00e9 un consortium de Bureaux d\u2019Etudes Techniques (Consortium Team Engineering, CPCS, SPT) pour r\u00e9aliser des \u00e9tudes d\u2019avant-projet sommaire\u00a0et dont un rapport provisoire a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9 au mois de septembre 2018.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f428251 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f428251\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;ekit_we_effect_on&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Le port de Kribi en raison du temps de transit plus r\u00e9duit et des volumes de fret plus avantageux, est en mesure de proposer, une part croissante des trafics maritimes import et export \u00e0 destination du Centre et du Nord qui passaient jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent par le port de Douala. Il est vraisemblable qu\u2019une part importante des trafics import \u00e0 destination du Tchad et du Grand Nord du Cameroun ainsi que des trafics export, notamment les trafics de bois conteneuris\u00e9s vont \u00eatre progressivement d\u00e9tourn\u00e9s de Douala vers Kribi.<\/p><p>La construction d\u2019une antenne ferroviaire entre Ed\u00e9a et Kribi est essentielle \u00e0 la poursuite des activit\u00e9s de transport de fret par CAMRAIL. Le port de Kribi en raison du temps de transit plus r\u00e9duit et des volumes de fret plus avantageux, est en mesure de proposer, une part croissante des trafics maritimes import et export \u00e0 destination du Centre et du Nord qui passaient jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent par le port de Douala.
