Au cours de ces ann\u00e9es, nous avons subi une double pression sur notre march\u00e9. D\u2019une part, l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de la qualit\u00e9 du r\u00e9seau routier marqu\u00e9e par le bitumage du dernier tron\u00e7on de route reliant Douala \u00e0 N&#8217;Gaound\u00e9r\u00e9 en 2012 qui a entra\u00een\u00e9 un fort accroissement de la concurrence routi\u00e8re. Et d\u2019autre part, la crise \u00e9conomique tchadienne intervenue en 2015 qui s\u2019est traduite par une forte diminution des importations nationales tant sous forme conventionnelle que conteneuris\u00e9e (baisse de 33% et de 48% des volumes du march\u00e9 respectivement)<\/p><p>L\u2019importance de la r\u00e9gression subie par l\u2019\u00e9conomie tchadienne peut aussi \u00eatre mesur\u00e9e par la forte compression des tonnages d\u00e9charg\u00e9s sur le port de Douala \u00e0 destination du Tchad (366.317 T en 2017 contre 610.114 T en 2014 et 584.040 T en 2015).<\/p><p>Nous qui \u00e9tions parvenu \u00e0 pr\u00e9server notre niveau d\u2019activit\u00e9 jusqu\u2019en 2015, avons subi, au cours des deux exercices suivants, une diminution de 16% de ses tonnages transport\u00e9s\u00a0; nous avons n\u00e9anmoins r\u00e9ussi \u00e0\u00a0partiellement compenser l\u2019impact de la crise tchadienne en\u00a0s\u2019appuyant sur les produits que le Tchad achemine sur le march\u00e9 national camerounais et notamment les hydrocarbures, les bois \u00e0 l\u2018export et le trafic conventionnel local. Performance Edit Content Les transports de fret au Cameroun depuis la mise en concession du r\u00e9seau ferroviaire ont \u00e9volu\u00e9 selon 3 phases : une phase de croissance acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9e,\u00a0entre 1999 et 2002, port\u00e9e par la mise en concession et la construction du pipeline Tchad \u2013 Cameroun\u00a0; une phase de stabilisation entre 2003 et 2013\u00a0; une phase de r\u00e9gression depuis 2014. Phase de forte croissance entre 1999 et 2004 2\u00e8me phase de stabilisation entre 2004 et 2013 3\u00e8me phase de r\u00e9gression depuis 2013 &#8211; 2014 Les progr\u00e8s r\u00e9alis\u00e9s apr\u00e8s la mise en concession ont \u00e9t\u00e9 importants\u00a0; les tonnages transport\u00e9s qui plafonnaient entre 1.1 et 1.4 millions de\u00a0tonnes au cours des ann\u00e9es 1990 ont notablement progress\u00e9 avec la\u00a0cr\u00e9ation de CAMRAIL en 1999, pour atteindre 1.9 millions tonnes en 2001-2002. Le corridor ferroviaire de Douala qui jouait un r\u00f4le important dans l\u2019alimentation du Tchad a pleinement profit\u00e9 du d\u00e9veloppement des industries p\u00e9troli\u00e8res Tchadiennes et notamment de la construction du pipeline\u00a0reliant Doba \u00e0 Kribi. Nous avons aussi jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le essentiel dans l\u2019acheminement des cargaisons de l\u2019Aide humanitaire au Darfour (PAM, HCR\u2026). Jusqu\u2019en 2003 et 2004, ann\u00e9es marqu\u00e9es par le dynamisme de l\u2019\u00e9conomie tchadienne tir\u00e9e par la mise en place des infrastructures et des \u00e9quipements d\u2019extraction p\u00e9troli\u00e8re, les tonnages transport\u00e9s ont progress\u00e9 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 d\u00e9passer 1,8 millions tonnes. Les trafics de fret se sont stabilis\u00e9s entre 2004 et 2013. Nous sommes parvenus \u00e0 substituer les produits import\u00e9s courants du Tchad aux \u00e9quipements lourds utilis\u00e9s pour l\u2019industrie p\u00e9troli\u00e8re nationale et a profit\u00e9 de la tr\u00e8s forte progression de l\u2019\u00e9conomie tchadienne (le PIB par habitant qui \u00e9tait de 220 $ en 2001, atteignait 1.025 $ en 2014). Au cours de ces ann\u00e9es, CAMRAIL \u00e9tait le chemin de fer public d\u2019Afrique Sub-saharienne de l\u2019Ouest et du Centre qui transportait les plus forts tonnages. Depuis 2013-2014, les trafics mesur\u00e9s en tonnes km ont r\u00e9gress\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on continue. Au cours de ces ann\u00e9es, nous avons subi une double pression sur notre march\u00e9. D\u2019une part, l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de la qualit\u00e9 du r\u00e9seau routier marqu\u00e9e par le bitumage du dernier tron\u00e7on de route reliant Douala \u00e0 N&#8217;Gaound\u00e9r\u00e9 en 2012 qui a entra\u00een\u00e9 un fort accroissement de la concurrence routi\u00e8re. Et d\u2019autre part, la crise \u00e9conomique tchadienne intervenue en 2015 qui s\u2019est traduite par une forte diminution des importations nationales tant sous forme conventionnelle que conteneuris\u00e9e (baisse de 33% et de 48% des volumes du march\u00e9 respectivement) L\u2019importance de la r\u00e9gression subie par l\u2019\u00e9conomie tchadienne peut aussi \u00eatre mesur\u00e9e par la forte compression des tonnages d\u00e9charg\u00e9s sur le port de Douala \u00e0 destination du Tchad (366.317 T en 2017 contre 610.114 T en 2014 et 584.040 T en 2015). Nous qui \u00e9tions parvenu \u00e0 pr\u00e9server notre niveau d\u2019activit\u00e9 jusqu\u2019en 2015, avons subi, au cours des deux exercices suivants, une diminution de 16% de ses tonnages transport\u00e9s\u00a0; nous avons n\u00e9anmoins r\u00e9ussi \u00e0\u00a0partiellement compenser l\u2019impact de la crise tchadienne en\u00a0s\u2019appuyant sur les produits que le Tchad achemine sur le march\u00e9 national camerounais et notamment les hydrocarbures, les bois \u00e0 l\u2018export et le trafic conventionnel local.
