State monitoring committees

The railway concession between the State of Cameroon and CAMRAIL is
monitored by 

set up in 2004 and made up of members from various ministerial departments, whose mission is to regulate passenger activity, notably by setting fares and timetables, and adopting measures to improve travel conditions

which oversees the implementation of investment projects aimed
at modernizing the railroads, in particular the acquisition of rolling stock
track renovation, modernization of level crossings, etc

  • The Ministry of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development
  • The Ministry of Public Works
  • The Ministry of Lands, Cadastre and Land Affairs
  • The Technical Commission for the Privatization and Liquidation of Public and Parastatal Companies (Ctpl)
  • Autonomous Sinking Fund (CAA) and the Technical Commission in charge of monitoring economic programs
